This was not a chance encounter, but a God-appointed meeting. An ultrasound that was suppose to be a quick appointment, turned out to be one of my toughest days in my life. I was carrying twins, and as the technician scanned their tiny bodies. I was informed that the twins no longer had a heartbeat. This news was difficult to comprehend, and I was overwhelmed with immediate decisions that needed to be made. While I was waiting in the hallway, crying, a nurse asked what was the matter. I couldn’t respond to her question. She smiled at me and said, ” Don’t you know The Lord is in control?” In this moment, she did not say much, but she pointed me to The Lord, who would help me. The news I had just received did not make any sense at the time. God knew I needed that nurse at that God appointed time. Sometimes during the difficulties in our life we just need that hand to be held, a kind word of comfort, prayer, a smile, and the list can go on. Are you prepared to minister in your God appointed time?
1 Thessalonians 5:11
Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as ye also do.
