In December of 1903, the Wright Brothers sent a message to their sister Catherine in Dayton, Ohio: “Flew today 120 feet. Will be home for Christmas.” She rushed the telegraph to the newspaper which printed the following headline: “Wright Brothers Will Be Home For Christmas.” The writer missed the main point of the message.
There is a far more important message than the message the two brothers sent to their sister back in 1903. This message goes back over 2,000 years. It is the good tidings of great joy the Advent Angel brought to the shepherds of Bethlehem and to all the people in the world about the birth of a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
There was no room for Him in the inn. Is there room in your heart for Him? Don’t miss Christmas!
