This is a verse that I have chosen to challenge our teens with this upcoming year in 2016. My wife and I want the young people at our church to realize just who God is and what he can do and that his promises are real. So much so that when they march across the stage, graduate from high school, and step away from the youth group that they are stepping right into some other place in the church to grow and serve.
I wonder today how many of us as adults are really realizing just who God is and what he can do and that his promises are real. As Christians we sail through life on auto pilot sometimes, saying we have faith but always having a plan of our own. We are supposed to be good stewards of God’s time and money that we are given but at the same time have the faith to know that where we are in life, if we are walking in his will, is right where He wants us so that we depend on Him and trust Him. Life is full of surprises, and we have our ups and downs, but God never falters or changes or fails. We can depend on that till the day we die.
As we close out 2015 and look ahead to 2016, I hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Also let’s all be reminded that God is faithful, and He will be there for us till the end. We need to just keeping doing right. Who knows, we may not even make it to 2016 because Christ may come in the clouds before we finish reading this or I finish typ
It could be just that fast; be faithful because HE IS FAITHFUL.
