Job 28: 24-26 “For he looketh to the ends of the Earth, and seeth under the whole heaven; To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure. When he made the decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder.”
My Earth Science class will be studying meteorology very soon. We will study terms like atmospheric pressure, humidity, and coalescence. Most individuals think these terms come from modern scientific studies, but we find Job writing about these very things 3500 years ago. Why do we think we are so smart? Our God allowed Job to understand that the concept of how the atmospheric pressure (weight for the winds) and the humidity (weight of the water) brings the coalescence of water droplets (rain).
I thank God for the knowledge that he imparts to feeble humans. Sad to say, many people acquire knowledge and reject the God that provided that knowledge for them. According to Romans 1:25”… They worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator.” We must honor the God of the universe for not only the knowledge He provides for us, but the air we breathe, and the planet we live on.
Psalms 118:1 “O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth forever.”
